Otoplasty (Ear Pinning) & Ear Lobe Repair

The goal of Otoplasty is to reshape and reposition the ears for a more balanced and symmetrical look. The Otoplasty procedure is approximately a 2 hour procedure with IV anesthesia provided at our on-site surgery center. Ear lobe repair surgery can be performed to mend stretched or torn earring holes. Ear lobe repair surgery is approximately 30 minutes per ear and can be performed under local anesthesia. Earlobes may be re-pierced 6 months after Ear Lobe surgery. Both procedures are same-day surgeries and are outpatient procedures. Sutures typically are removed at 7-10 days. With both procedures, patients must limit exposure to sun for the first 3 weeks.
